Credential.

It’s down to, can you get the work done in the timeframe that I want you to?
A pretty long sentence, but that is what it is.
If you can’t with a slip out of a thousand, you can’t.
You don’t need numbers to tell you about your own credit report, its just the task assigned and the roles given.

We have met the enemy and he is us.

Chipotle for Dinner

without comments

Just 2 weeks ago I met my parents in Sheraton Manhatton NY.
For one thing, it was not awkward. It felt really good in fact, especially when they don’t bind me as hard as they used to.
Yea, Mum still has a few words here and there, and Dad still gives out advices, but its all good, at least for me.

Chicago trip was nerve-wrecking because for the 8-hrs round trip. Not only because the GPS from Aswin stopped working and I have to refer to the Mapquest papers, but because my parents are on the car with me.

Bloomington is much better, cuz they get to see how I live and I can make them feel comfortable too.

Then there’s the Singapore Night, I was eccentric when the curtain falls.

Oh, lastly, Indy was much prettier than we thought, the Government house as well as the memorial statues not only at the center of the city but all over it. Plus the Courtyard Mariott we stayed in has really nice mattresses.

————————

On this trip, my Mum played with snow, tried driving a car. It’s really pretty because you get to see the child inside of her when she jump in joy. Yea, literally.

My Dad’s not as serious either, he made funny faces and jokes around.

————————

I manage to get into the gate in the form of an escort for communication purposes since their seats weren’t finalized at the check-in table.

For that, I stole a couple more hours to spend time with them. I guess it’s not enough time to prepare themselves as we start walking to the gate. My mum’s grip on my hand got stronger and I knew what’s happening in her mind. She cried.

————————

Now that they have flew back, its like my backbones got abit weaker.
Well, they won’t be here for my 21st birthday, but they will be for my graduation next year.

Till then, love you Lao Ma and Lao Ba. It’s good to see you guys to be healthy and happy.

Love Monkey – Lesson#1

without comments

Now you know why you should have pride in your chosen DNA-codes.

Grant’s Law:-
“As soon as you think you found the right one, there is another right at the corner.”
“I had a perfect girl, her sister is more perfect, so I slept with her.”

Quite kick-ass. Deservingly.

Pause.

Parents returned.

without comments

What’s cool about this drive up to Indy is that I got through the custom ‘cuz I need to escort my parents to their gates due to seat arrangement.

My mother did cry. I think my Dad almost did too. I didn’t, not even wet, just eh… I think it’s kinda stuffed up.

Back to Bloomington.

I’m still feel super duper happy about Singapore Night. If you have not seen it. I will write about it soon.

by the way, Love monkey – quite funny.

It’s snowing pretty heavy, already 3 inches of them and still pouring down.
Luckily for me, I stepped into a puddle of water. Yes, out of the white, a puddle of water.

Cold feet cold feet.

Hopefully my parents enjoys it.

Su(hendra), I have been a negative blogger, haven’t I?
I should be blogging as a philo_blogger. no? :D

It’s snowing, yes.

Snow

Setting yourself back and forth in your comfort zone seems fine but it sure hinders how you develop socially. Restriction.

It’ll be nice if it snows.
It did, and it still does.

Gawker

The web, no the blogging world is buzzling with craze.
If you are in one of the large cities in the States, e.g NY, LA, maybe Chicago since I’m there, hook up to Gawker/stalker to find out if any celebrities have dropped by the Starbucks next to your hotel, or the cinema.

Catch them if you can?

just spotted Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Amanda Bynes, Catherine Zeta Jones.
nice strike.
