Friendships…

without comments

I feel blessed to be shielded away from the ever-so-common dramas that usually hits me quarterly, semesterly.

Maintaining friendship seems to have gotten more difficult as the years counts on. There seems to be a growing trend of rules and guidelines for ‘true’ friendship, among so many. Boundaries and barriers has been set up across races, nationalities, religion, professions, likings, how you dresses up, haha, and sometimes even hair colors (gotta be blonde!).

Look at all the crap – @%$!#^^@$& (not vulgarity) – they are conversations.
And look at the expressions – :) that’s why we have friends.

Men are weak, we are weak, we fall and fails all the time.

And that’s why we have friends, true friends.
To keep our heads up, to keep us accountable, to keep us on track of making smart decisions.

So I says. So God says. Be cheered on & not bounded down.

Amen?
:)

Wacky Weather

with one comment

It’s been a tough start to the week for just everyone.

Monday blue seems to have activated the zombie mood in most, if not all.

One cloudy day, one rainy day, and another cloudy day. We all woke up grumpy; just like the dude who never smiles in Snow White.

The workload seems to align with the thick layers of cloud. Oh ya, maybe some bad luck here and there, depression here and there. They might not even have come off you directly, but was reflected from your friends. It’s all getting a little too crazy, isn’t it?

I just want to encourage those that might have been feeling down, depress, upset or worried. It’s all going to be fine, it’s not the end of the world. Believe still, in smiles, and believe still in rejoice.
Psalm 30:5 (NLT)

“…weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”

Take a step back, it’s just week #8, of course its going to be a little tougher. :)

Take care and God bless. :)

Faith in, faith comes in.

without comments

It’s been a week since my wavering faith.

I’m glad I have the chance to meet up my c-group guys. It really put me in perspective, by seeing God’s work in their lives as well as mine.

This entire week following words and prayer from Bob and the rest of my c-group members, I see and I hear differences. On Tuesday, a day after my declaration of struggle, words from Dr. Myles Munroe just filled me up! If you have time, try giving it a shot, I’m sure God will do miracles in your life! :)

Grace by Grace.

with 2 comments

You see, when I shared, I complaint that my spiritual life was stalling and my faith was waving.

In return, this is what I received – waves on waves of grace.

All by which I heard and read today brought me to my feet, spread into me the confidence and encouragement that just brought me to smiles!

“In every seed, God hid a forest; in every cow, God hid a herd, in every fish; God hid a school; in every little boy, God hid an awesome man!”

In every seed, God provides a forest.

And I shall be that seed, by which it is being watered by the water that never dries.

This is the awesome faith and awesome love, and awesome grace, and awesome mercy, of my God, of our God!

Listen guys: faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes from the word of God! (Romans 10:17)
If you don’t have time to read the bible (which you shouldn’t), listen the message and be satisfied!

This is good stuff.

Coding

without comments

The hardest Midterm of the 3-weeks stretch will probably be programming, which involves coding. But! Worries not, for we have the Internet-Almighty! :D

As seen on Digg.

A Busier Week

with one comment

Finally, on the 6th week, school work starts to catch up.

At the beginning of the week, with an assignment that I have no clue about where and how to start, I went to sleep making plans about daily itinerary up till end of week.

Eating

without comments

Since I moved into the Grove (which is an awesome apartment by the way), I have yet to cook meal out of meat for myself; aside from the occasional eat-outs and the frequent instant-noodle sides.

Now my mum’s here, I’m expecting a month (yes a month) of real and good food. Amen!

I have a question for you guys…

為什麼三分熟的牛排會和五分熟的牛排打招呼……

因為…裝熟

It doesn’t really make sense to me either, I just think its kinda, funny.
