Urbana 06

without comments

Sorry for the late late update, its either my computer or the network that I wasn’t able to log on in the past 3 days.

So, how do you fit 22,250 people into a city during the holiday season?

Well, get into the Rams’ Stadium! That’s what Urbana 06 did.

Now let’s get to work.

Touchdown… almost!

without comments

Railgun’s good at photography

Yes, I did touchdown in Seattle on Wedneday night.
And I wasn’t one of the planes who had to re-do its landing because of the awfully strong wind (almost 80mph was what I heard).

Yesterday was day#1 and today is day#2. I have until day#11 before I fly off on day #12 (Xmas day).

So here’s a little briefing about Day #1. :)

I went back to Shoreline; had lunch @ Thai Tom; played Wii @ Pochi while drinking avocado shake with jelly (should have been pudding).

And here’s Day#2 (which after delaying to post, has became yesterday) :|

Had lunch with Audrey and bumped into Jose, Liberto, Chris, Martin & his girlfriend; went shopping with Audrey; went to Church (had a blast).

I’m still waking up around 8~10a.m. in the morning all thanks to Suhendra’s MUST-HAVE 8A.M. ALARM CLOCK WHICH HE DOESN’T SHUT OFF. So yea, with the weather being sleepy, I can only yawn.

Reporting from Vegas.

with one comment

Good gracious Las Vegas’s International Airport allows free WiFi access. How generous. :P

Apart from the slot machines, which I have heard about but is still amazed at (the quantity), there is ‘The Cofee Bean’. I haven’t seen ‘The Coffee Bean’ since I left Parkway Parade a long long time ago.

Ahhh… gotta board!

Ready to Go.

with one comment

Still stuck in Larry’s office with c2t.c, it’s just not copying right.

I’m glad and not glad that its raining, I have to somewhat hug my laptop to make sure it stay dry. I’m getting the rain on Tuesday to get used to the 10+ odds day trip to the rainy city.

I haven’t even packed. :|

But what’s more important in mind is, I think Scrubs’ cool, it’s somewhat like Love Monkey that I’d so liked. I’m hooked.

I pray that I can do well for the Programming class. It’s a cool class with a cool teacher. :D

The Beginning of a Better Diet

without comments

So, eh, I was convinced that Pizza and Top Ramen isn’t gonna get me to where I want to be*.

And I’ve decided to switch strategy, not by starving myself, but by stuffing myself with less grease, more healthy fofod products. So, I did and this was my dinner.

I hope it will last.

Smack you lah!

without comments

With each passing second, the Zune is getting cheaper, BUT with every passing second, more are being sold out!

Mmm.. I wonder how that may work if everyone collaborate and eh…
But come to think about it. There’s gotta be millions spotting on, and probably only hundreds if not thousands available. You do the calculation.

Thanks Uta for linking me to Jellyfish.com

I’m 1/3 way through Lab13, its due by midnight.

Schedule.

without comments

Last night I slept at 5a.m. It was really bad. I should have been walking working on my paper, but was watching some show on PPTV, until 4a.m. I was falling asleep in front of the laptop (its huge… ‘lap’top just doesn’t do it justice).

I have a habit that I developed this semester. Each night before I try to sleep, I will enter memos for the next day onto my cellphone. So last night this was on:

Sky is the limit?

with one comment

I remember reading this off the billboard outside a church, it says – “God allows U-turns”. Make sense.

I think I’m at a stage where I should start limiting myself by stopping myself. Doesn’t make sense.

Do you ever had some bad habits in terms of behavoirs or my specifically acts of emotion? Well, I do, that is being brainless. (I can just see Phua Chu Kang going – use your ‘bling’!)

In the past couples of days, I was doing some really dumb stuff…

I really need to pray more…

Reminded about Singapore

without comments

Due to the scarce population here in Bloomington, and a comparably-less-dense city of Seattle, I’ve forgotten about the Kiasu-ism of Singaporean and all the queues you have to stand in for free rides. Singapore has a population of 4.5 million, over 700 square killometre, that is eh… about 6.5 people per square metre! Super dense lah. (Tokyo has about 5.5 people per square metre, so eh, Singapore win!)

I’m pretty surprise and yet happy that a new IKEA has been built in Tampines (where I used to attend Primary School), its gonna be a new ‘favorite-hangout-spot’ lah. But then, with so many people, I can just imagine myself wanting to get out the moment I get in. I don’t really like crowds when doing shopping.

I think its time for me to get back to the blogging routine. Things that other bloggers have written are getting cooler, and eh, I should eh, help you by reflecting their ‘coolness’. Yea man. :P

Pimples!

without comments

I didn’t even saw it this morning!

Pimples on not one, but both sides of the cheeks – it could be the extreme cold weather or the irrational lack of sleep; I would go with the latter. So I would advice readers to sleep early (latest – 2 please), and not stay up to channel surfing or doing anything addictive – like playing CM.

8 more days and I will be off and back, I’m really excited about this ’surprise trip’, but at the same time kinda anxious about what’s gonna happen.

And I really want to watch the Nativity before I goes back. And can anyone take care of my fish while I’m gone? Please?
