Have you done your reading?

I am a hardworking part-time student

When you are a blogger in 2001, all you can do when it comes to blog is seeping through layers of text, with the occasional luck of meeting some colorful collages of Spiderman or picture of your PM. Freelancing back then is truly about creativity.

Looking ahead, well, say today, we are unknowingly surrounded by an infinite overloaded informational Internet that spans all the way around the entire planet. Spitting out daily Bollywood digests, images of the exotic Galápagos Islands, summing up sessions of conferences, or more important news about Paris Hilton and whatever she did with Lindsay Lohan last night.

If there’s a better time to start freelancing and sharing, its probably now.
You may write codes, reviews, DIYs, thousand-word essays, whatever it maybe. You will get an audience.

I’m sadly restricted by both my literature ability and technology skills to publish anything spectacular, yet. However, with my collection of 74 core RSS feeds, I’m willed to cover all the 7 continents and 5 oceans.

Listed are some of the daily readings that I feel are essential for you to stay on top of things:

Digg! – You dig? I dig man! You decide whats good and cool for the community. It try to stay up to date on ‘breaking news’.

Lifehacker – You are missing out a large part of your (geek?) life by leaving out this for your daily digest. Name says it, hacker of life – lifehacker.

Cute Overload – Even a manly man needs ‘to feel the touch of a fuzzy bunny’ from time to time (as described by Folie, my STC co-worker). Yes, we love animals. Stop global warming. I’m serious!

PhD Comics – It’s not really a daily thing; but I think it’s a healthy read for several days in a week. Although it says PhD comics, if you are a grad student, try to stay away from it. Depression takes too long to heal.

Seattle Daily Photo – Miss Seattle? I do.

So there you go, that’s some links for you to start off with.
Feel free to share you must-have daily reads (you know those that motivate you to get off your bed at 7 in the morning?).

Tomorrow, we will go into the detail benefits of those reads.
Have a blastful day! If you are in Indiana, go grab some sunshine, its FREE! :D
