Day 150: She’s Done It!

without comments

It was nerve-breaking for awhile – about 3 hours?

But I definitely welcome the final verdict. Good job YY. Or should I say soon-to-be Dr. Y? :D

In Seattle: This is funny/interesting. But this is really sad.

Camera Actuations

without comments

That’s a new term that I learnt today after being prompted by a friend who was interested in the D40 I’m trying to sell. Camera Actuations meant the number of shots you have taken with that camera. There are tools out there that allows you to check out this information (when you open up the EXIF information of that image).

Opanda: Use this application to open up the EXIF information of an image.

Camera Shutter Life Expectancy Database: Use this to see where your camera stand in terms of how long more it can be used.

My D40 hit 19k in less than a year – that’s about 2.5k per month. Wow.
