Day 211: Google Chrome makes me feel Cool.

without comments

Tim recommended Google Chrome after my Firefox froze at least twice while he was at my place helping me with job hunt. I downloaded it yesterday and have since been hooked on. It somehow make browsing funner. I’m not to criticize Firefox in anyways, but in terms of memory usage, Chrome eating up only about a third of what Firefox consume. Sweet.

My bookmark was automatically added to Chrome. The settings were minimum. And the interface is somwhat Mac suited – I’d prefer not to use it in full-screen.

You can download Chrome here. Doesn’t hurt to check it out.

My computer is starting to show its age and I’m determined to resolve the problem without having to reformat or reinstall it. I just need to figure out what each process name mean and if they are absolutely necessary while anticipating virus. I mean there’s some really questionable ones out there: TeaTimer (8k), GrooveMonitor (5k) are one of the few.

It’s about time. No one needs a break 4 months long. :(
